A message from Dr. Inabinet...

Dear VHHS Family,

It is hard to believe how quickly summer is passing. In our home, we are enjoying these final weeks with a mix of anticipation and reflection - celebrating the gift of a slower pace while preparing for all that a new school year will bring. Whether you have a rising senior, a new Rebel, or anyone in between, this season often holds both excitement and a few nerves, and we are right there with you. At VHHS, our faculty and staff have been working diligently to ensure that the 2025–2026 school year begins with purpose, clarity, and strong momentum. From professional development to campus preparations to thoughtful planning, we remain focused on creating a school year marked by growth and connection. Please be sure to review this newsletter and other communication, as these important reminders and start of school details are shared to help you and your student feel confident and prepared.

Enjoy this final stretch of summer, and thank you in advance for what we know will be stellar year. We look forward to welcoming our students back on August 7.

Go Rebels,
Dr. Inabinet

A Note from the Health Room

In preparation for the upcoming school year, our new VHHS school nurse, Angie McLean, will be available August 6th to receive medications and any supplies your child may require. Please be sure to bring the proper documentation (PPA) with a physician signature for all prescription medication. Medication must be in a current prescription bottle with the correct dosage and directions on the label. The nurse will only be able to accept a 30 day supply of medications. Forms may be found on the VHCS website under the Student Health Services tab. Also, please notify the nurse if your child has any health concerns that require emergency medication or any other other chronic health issues that she needs to be aware of for the school year ahead. Nurse Angie can be reached at mcleanaj@vhcs.us.
