Dr. Walker Cook has been an educator since 2000. He holds a bachelor's degree from Lees-McRae College where he was a student athlete in basketball and golf, a master's degree and an educational specialist degree from Jacksonville State University in educational leadership, and a doctorate in educational leadership from Samford University. His professional career includes being a classroom teacher in English and social studies and being a basketball and golf coach at Eagle's Landing Christian Academy in Georgia and Moody Junior High School. In the Saint Clair County School System, he served as the assistant principal and principal of Odenville Middle School for the past 16 years. Dr. Cook is excited to be an assistant principal at Vestavia Hills High School and is eager to serve this extraordinary community.
